Paranoia is a game based on the famous novel by the same name written by Joseph Finder. It is a role playing game in which you play the role of the character Adam Cassidy from the novel. The story of the game goes on as you are in the world of corporate espionage. Your aim is to advance through the headquarters of Trion Systems and search the program and documents for the new technology that the company is developing.
The game is set in an office where you have to collect keys that unlock the doors in order to find the secret documents. You have to collect all the documents in one level in order to proceed to the next level. When you reach the final level, you have to steal a program disc to complete your mission. At no point would your journey be an easy one as the Trion’s security guards will be after you in large numbers.
Use the arrow keys to control Adam’s movements. If the guards catch you they will hit you with their tazers and this will lower your energy so be very careful. If you are surrounded by guards press the ‘B’ key to ignite a smoke bomb which will confuse the guards and force them to back off. Use the space bar to shoot glue at the guards and block up the doors to security offices. Find some coffee to recharge your energy meter.
Paranoia is a taxing, exciting and interesting game. You will not get bored of this one and will not be able to stop until Adam Cassidy completes his mission.
